A defined scope
A rewiring plan for your home.
Home rewiring is more than replacing a few outlets. The work may involve existing circuits, cable routes, electrical boxes, protective devices and connections at the panel. We review the affected areas and discuss what needs replacement, what can remain and how the work fits your renovation or occupied home.
Whole House Rewiring
How we can help
Whole House Rewiring
A comprehensive wiring replacement across the agreed areas of the home. The scope identifies circuits, devices, access and any related panel work, rather than assuming every electrical component needs replacement.
Partial Home Rewiring
Targeted replacement for particular rooms, circuits or areas of the property. This may suit a defined renovation or wiring concern when a full replacement is not established as necessary.
Outdated Wiring Replacement
Assess and replace wiring identified as unsuitable for the agreed project. Age alone does not determine the scope; wiring condition, installation type and planned use must be evaluated.
Rewiring for Home Renovations
Coordinate wiring updates with kitchen, bathroom and other home improvements. Planning before finishes are installed helps define circuit routes, fixture locations and coordination with other trades.

Common questions
Whole House Rewiring FAQs
Have a question about your property? Call (213) 433-5955 or describe the work below.
How do I know whether I need a full rewire?
A full replacement is not automatically needed because a house is older. An assessment of the existing wiring, reported issues and planned work helps distinguish a full rewire from a partial replacement or local repair.
Can you rewire only part of my home?
Yes. Partial home rewiring can cover identified rooms, areas or circuits. The proposed scope needs to account for how retained and replacement wiring connect.
Can existing conduit be used for new wiring?
Where the existing conduit or flexible raceway is suitable, it may be used for replacement wiring. We assess its condition, routing and suitability for the proposed circuits before setting the scope.
Can I stay in the house during the work?
This depends on the project scope, access, work sequence and power interruptions. Discuss occupancy and essential equipment before scheduling so arrangements can be agreed.
Does rewiring mean replacing the electrical panel?
Not necessarily. Panel replacement or a capacity upgrade is a separate decision based on the existing equipment and proposed loads. Any related panel work should be identified in the estimate.
Are permits required?
Home rewiring commonly involves permits and inspection. The applicable requirements need to be confirmed for your jurisdiction and specific scope.
What affects the cost and schedule?
Home size, affected circuits, existing pathways, access, wiring conditions and inspection coordination all influence the scope and schedule. A property review is needed before making a project-specific commitment.
